Ryan, Thomas Martin, 86, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday February 2, 2006 at Bay Pines VA Health Care. He was born in Salem, SD and moved here in 1956 from Norfolk, VA. He retired from the Navy as Master Chief Petty Officer. He worked for the US Postal Service as a letter carrier for 27 years. He was a member of the Po-Fellas Hunt Club, the Fleet Reserve, a past member of the Holy Family Catholic Church Men?s Club, the Power Squadron, and the WWII PT Boat Squadron Association. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He is survived by his 4 daughters: Eleanor Elizabeth Shields and Patricia Colleen Kettrick, both of Brooksville, FL, Katherine Michele Niemier of Safety Harbor, FL and Susan Maureen Farias of St. Petersburg; his son: Patrick Leonard Ryan of Philadelphia, PA; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
