Desrosiers, Joseph A., 85, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday February 2, 2006 at Bayfront Medical Center. He was born in Fall River, MA and moved here in 1983 from West Springfield, MA. He was an Army veteran having served in Africa and Europe during WWII. He worked for Smith & Wesson for over 30 years as a repair supervisor. He was a member of the Elks Club, VFW and Polish-American Society. He also was a member of the West Springfield Mobile Police. He is survived by his daughter: Gloria Rokosz of Tierra Verde; his brother: Armand Desrosiers of West Palm Beach, FL; his sister: Anita Bernard of Fall River, MA; granddaughter: Stacy Rokosz of St. Petersburg; grandson: Christopher Rokosz of Pinellas Park and 3 great-grandchildren.
