Huffman, Chauncey L., 94, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday Feb. 11, 2006 at Edward White Hospital. Born in Logan County, OH, he came here in 1977 from Springfield, OH. He was a Tool & Die Machinist with the Elliot Company in Springfield and retired after 15 years of service. He made and perfected small parts for John Glenn?s space ship. He was very active in bowling circles winning many awards for his Moose Lodge and Eagles club. He also won many trophies in shuffleboard. He was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Sarah L.; a daughter, Ruby J. Grimm, St. Petersburg; two step-daughters; Sandra J. Gates and Jan L. Dillahunt, both of St. Petersburg; a sister, Vadabelle Coleman, Springfield, OH; seven grandchildren; twenty one Great-Grandchildren; and nineteen Great-Great-Grandchildren.
