April 20th, 1929 - July 14th, 2006
Harling, Margaret Jane, 77, of St. Petersburg, died Friday July 14, 2006 at Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, South Pasadena. She was born in Birmingham, AL and came here as an infant. She was a graduate of St. Petersburg High School and then attended the Florida State Women?s College in Tallahassee now known as Florida State University. She was President and then the State Director of the Junior Women?s League in St. Petersburg. She moved to Citrus County in the 1970?s and was the Human Resource Director for Citrus County for over nineteen years. She was also a Hospice Director in Citrus County and was very active with Meals on Wheels. She loved fishing on the Homosassa River and playing cards with her friends. She was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include three sons: Laine Harling, Concord, NC; Benjamin and Wesley Harling, both of St. Petersburg; and six grandchildren. Anderson-McQueen Funeral & Cremation Centers-Tyrone Chapel
