Rinaldo, Vernon 69, of St. Petersburg, died Friday, September 2, 2011, at home. Born in Utica, NY, he came here in 1985 from New Hartford, NY. He was a United States Air Force veteran. He was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in the transportation ministry. He enjoyed wood working and golfing. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister. He is survived by wife Catherine Rinaldo, St. Petersburg, FL; sons Derek Rinaldo (Erica), San Francisco, CA; Steven Rinaldo; Scott Rinaldo (Megan); Michael Rinaldo (Shelley) all of Concord , NC; sisters Cynthia Stevener (Donald); Leslie Matteson both of New Hartford, NY; grandchildren Brandon, Matthew, Morgan, Taylor, Makaylee, Ben, Gianna, and Adrian and many nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation from 11-1pm on Thursday, September 8, 2011 with a service starting at 1pm at the funeral home.
