Lynette Marie Staniford
December 10th, 1954 - December 4th, 2006
Lynette Marie Staniford, dedicated Wife, Mother, Artist and ICU Nurse passed away in St. Petersburg, FL at 51 years of age on December the 4th 2006 at 8:28 pm. She is survived by her Husband Paul Staniford, Son Eric Staniford, Sister Michelle, Brothers, Ken and Howard Rhude and Mother Marian Rhude. She was preceded in death by her Father John Rhude. Her remains will be interred in Ullin, IL in a private family ceremony. Lynette was intelligent, passionate, selfless, caring and a sympathetic woman, dedicated to her family above all else, and committed to excellence in her career as a nurse. She appreciated the beauty in her life, despite the pain that she endured. She loved nature, art, music and meaningful conversations with her friends, family, and unofficially adopted kids. She was a revered member of the ?Awed Fellows Fraternity of the Robonia Parade.? She was an amazing cook, an excellent listener, an analytical thinker, a potter, a painter, and a sculptor. Lynette rushed off to help our families whenever a critical health issue arose. Lynette and Paul responded before anyone else, and stayed until the health crisis was over. She cared for our parents and grandparents as they left this life, and ensured that they were comfortable and given the best care possible. Lynette nurtured everyone and everything around her; her husband and son, her son?s friends, her siblings, her beloved animal companions, Gabby and Samson, and her orchids. She was taken from us before her time, as she had important things left to do. Lynette?s gentle spirit and tender affections will be sorely missed by everyone she touched. Instead of sending flowers or money, the family asks that you please take a moment of your time for sincere personal reflection about the beauty in the world around us, the temporary nature of our lives, and the importance of our loved ones.
