June 22nd, 1931 - December 14th, 2006
Proulx, Donald A., 75, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday Dec. 14, 2006 at home. He came here in 1950 from his native Southbridge, Massachusetts. For twenty years he was in the resort business serving at hotels in Lake Placid, New York, and Harbor Point, Michigan. He spent seventeen years as bar manager at Wentworth-By-The-Sea in Portsmouth, New Hampshire and also locally served at the Belleview Biltmore and the Vinoy during the winter seasons. From 1982 until his retirement he was night foreman at Madeira Beach Middle School. He was a member of Lutheran Church of the Cross, St. Petersburg. Survivors include his wife of thirty-two years, Virginia; a niece, Pam Proulx, Hartford, CT; and several cousins. Anderson-McQueen Funeral & Cremation Centers-NE St. Petersburg
