Moore, Carl L., MD, 71, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday January 14, 2007 at Hospice Woodside. Born in Dayton, KY, he came here in 1962 from Ft. Thomas, KY. He was Protestant. He was graduate Hanover College in Indiana and graduate of University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He was an intern and resident at Mound Park Hospital now Bayfront Medical Center. He was in private practice for over 30 years at Palms of Pasadena Professional Building. During which he was Chief of Staff and Chairman of the Governing Board and founding Physician at Palms of Pasadena Hospital. He was past president of the Florida Diabetic Association; a member of the Florida Medical Association, Life Member and Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Volunteered at St. Petersburg?s Free Medical Clinic, Chairman of the Suncoast Tarpon Roundup, President of the Pasadena Little League, President of the Shorecrest Boosters, Shorecrest Charger Football Team Doctor, a Kentucky Colonel, a Kentucky Admiral, a Mason and a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity Hanover College. He survived by his wife of 47 years, Mureen F.; a daughter, Judith M. Brakke, St. Petersburg; two sons, Scot E., Orlando, FL; Steven W., Seminole, FL; two brothers, Blaine, Glendora, CA, Jerry, Zanesville, OH; two sisters, June Maines, Lexington, KY, Margaret McKenna, Ft. Thomas, KY; seven grandchildren: Melissa Brakke, Andrea Brakke, Olivia Moore, Rachael Brakke, Alexandra Moore, Neil Moore, Alan Moore. Anderson-McQueen Funeral & Cremation Centers ?
