Nicks, Ocie Ruth, 88, of Lake Wales, formerly of St. Petersburg, died Monday, January 22, 2007 at home. Born in St. Petersburg, FL, she moved to Franklin, NC in 1999 and was a winter resident of Lake Wales, FL. She was employed by Sears Roebuck and Company as a Catalog Associate and Supervisor and retired after 33 years. She was a member of the American Business Women?s Association and enjoyed cross stitching crafts and reading. Survivors include two sons, James Nicks Jr., Lake Wales, FL, Allan Jay Nicks, Springfield, TN; a sister, Jessie Thomas, Kissimmee, FL; five grandchildren, one great grandson and many nieces and nephews.
