Bender, Jean Gillespie, 66, of Largo and formerly of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday January 30, 2007 at Largo Medical Center. She was born in Troy, NY and moved here in 1977 from upstate New York. She was the Business Manager of Rainbow Irrigation & Pump for 15 years. She enjoyed cooking and walks on the beach. She was an avid dancer, having attended the National Ball Room Dance Championships in the late 1970?s. She is survived by her son: Kevin Bender, Seminole, FL; her three daughters: Sheila Meneses, Tampa, FL, Maris Lee, St. Petersburg, FL, and Amy Bender, New York, NY; her mother: Edith Dellio, Troy, NY; her companion of 26 years: Glenn Marinelli, Largo, FL; her three brothers: Doug Gillespie, Bennington, VT, Clarence Dellio, Concord, CA, and Donald Dellio, Troy, NY; two sisters: Shirley Bigio, West Palm Beach, FL, and Martha Burdick, Troy, NY; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
