White, Ronald Curtis ?Ron?, 57, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday, March 17th, 2007 at Palms of Pasadena Hospital. He was born in Asheville, North Carolina and came here in 1982 from Sumter, South Carolina. He spent his youth in New Orleans, Louisiana and Charlotte, North Carolina and graduated from high school in Dearborn, Michigan. He was very active in the Boy Scouts and was an Eagle Scout. He was a 1976 graduate of the Baylor University School of Law in Waco, Texas and then served as a Captain in the Judge Advocate General?s JAG office. He was an Air Force veteran serving at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Incirlik Air Force Base in Adana, Turkey and Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, South Carolina and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the U.S. Air Force JAG Reserves in 1997. Locally, he began his law practice in 1982 and he served as a Boy Scout Troop Leader at St. James United Methodist Church in the 1980?s. He was a member of Pasadena Presbyterian Church where he served as a Deacon. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Shelley; 2 sons, Jonathan Curtis White of Orlando and Christopher Alan White of St. Petersburg; 1 sister, Delores Garnes of Trinity, Florida and 2 nephews, Fred Garnes, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia and Brent Garnes of Trinity.
