Collings, Robert, ?Bob?, 80, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday April 11, 2007 at St. Anthony?s Hospital. Born in Providence RI he moved to St. Petersburg 16 years ago. He was a veteran of the Navy and served in WWII. He graduated from Westerly High, RI. He retired from self employment as an automobile dealer. He was a member of VFW in Plainfield, CT . He enjoyed playing golf, skiing, and hunting. Survivors include his wife Fran of St. Petersburg; his three sons Peter Collings of Jewett City, CT; James Collings of New Orleans, LA; Ken Collings of Freeport, ME . And four grandchildren.
