DeFrancesco, Mona F. ?Mona?s Tavern?, 82, of St. Petersburg, died Friday June 8, 2007. She was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and moved here in 1961 from Syracuse, NY. She was the owner and operator of Mona?s Tavern for over 25 years. She was a member of the Moose Lodge-Chapter 871, former Commander of the Woman?s Auxiliary of DAV-Sunshine City 9, and the Woman?s Auxiliary of the VFW #687. She was an avid bingo and slots player. She is survived by her two sons: Earl Schell-Elbridge, NY and Vinnie DeFrancesco-Falls Church, VA; her daughter: Penny Swingly-Webster, NY; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Anderson-McQueen Funeral & Cremation Centers-NE St. Petersburg Chapel.
