Davis, Lloyd W., 86, of St. Petersburg, died Friday June 15, 2007 at home under the care of The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. Born in St. Louis, MO, he came here in 1971 from Belleville, IL. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII and was a member of the Americal Division in the South Pacific in the battles of Guadalcanal and Bougainville. He was a member of the Americal Division Veterans Association. He was Trainmaster for the NY Central and Penn Central Railroads and retired after 25 years of service. He owned and operated Lloyd?s Window Service in Seminole, FL and was a member of St. Paul?s Catholic Church. He was an avid traveler and enjoyed traveling in Europe, New Zealand and Australia. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mary Louise; a daughter, Janet C. Kohn, Swansea, IL; three sons: James F. ?Rick?, St. Petersburg; Joseph L., Kirkwood, MO; and John C, Candler, NC. In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by his loving grandchildren: Charles E. Sarah Davis, Eric C. Kohn, Jeanne Marie Jeremiah Harwood, Joseph C. Davis, Robert J. Davis, Ellery G. Davis, Frank Kohn, Michael Ginnie Kohn, Chelsea A. May, and a great granddaughter, Charly E. Davis. Anderson-McQueen Funeral & Cremation Centers-NE St. Petersburg
