Wilkins, Donald B., 79, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday, June 14, 2007. Born in Des Moines, IA, he was raised in Atlanta, GA and retired here in 1975 from Long Island, NY. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He was a graduate of Georgia Tech Class of 1950 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He served as Eastern Regional Sales Manager for International Paper Company and retired after 20 years. Don?s greatest passion was traveling the world, which he did extensively. He will be remembered for his remarkable sense of humor and creativity. He was predeceased by his son Donald Bruce Wilkins, Jr. Survivors include his two daughters, Janis Wilkins of New York City, NY and Diane Wilkins of Tallahassee, FL and many loving relatives and friends.
