Jackson, Robert S., Jr., 79, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday, June 24th, 2007 at his home. He was born in Fairfield, IL and came here in 1961 from Chicago, IL where he graduated from DeVry Technical Institute. He retired in 1990 from Allstate Insurance Company as a computer engineer after 30 years. He was a WW II Navy veteran, was of the Protestant faith, and a member of the Sunshine City Group. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Anita M. Jackson; 3 sons, Robert S. Jackson, III and John Neil Jackson, both of St. Petersburg, and Matthew Bruce Jackson of Palmetto; 1 sister, Katherine Brock of Fairfield, IL; 1 brother, Leslie Gene Jackson of Ruston, LA; and 7 grandchildren.
