Ellis, Raymond O. Sr., 93, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday July 4, 2007 at Hospice House Woodside. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he came here in 1991 from Pompano Beach, FL. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a Clerk for the U.S. Post Office in Cincinnati from 1953 until his retirement in 1974. He was a member of Rio Vista Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Thelma A.; a daughter, Mary Jo Boerger, Ft. Mitchell, KY; two sons: Raymond O. Ellis Jr., Cincinnati, OH and Gregory C. Ellis, St. Petersburg; a sister, Anna Brackmeier, Cincinnati, OH; four brothers: Melvin Ellis, North Fort Myers, FL, Paul, Donald and Archie Ellis, all of Cincinnati, OH and 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
