Dorothy A. Searles, 82 of Saint Petersburg, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015. She was born in Colon, Panama, on August 13, 1932. She was an employee of the Pinellas County Schools for over 20 years and was an active parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Charles L. Searles. Dorothy is survived by her children, Wayne C. Searles, Sonia T. Caldwell, husband Bill Caldwell; three grandchildren; sister, Estella Marchut; sister-in-law, Helen Passmore and many nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service on Monday, July 27, 2015, at 11:30 A.M., at Anderson McQueen Family Tribute Center, 2201 Dr. MLK Street North, St. Petersburg. Interment will follow at Bay Pines National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy's name to Suncoast Hospice Foundation, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760.
