64, of St. Petersburg, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Born in Fayetteville, NC, he moved to St. Petersburg in 1981. He graduated from Fayetteville High School. He was a United States Navy veteran. He was an avid fisherman and loved camping but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ressie Sylvia and Manley Croom Sr. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Judith Carole Croom; daughter, Rita Ann Youghn; son, David Eugene Croom; son, Ronald Phillip Croom; daughter, Elizabeth Carole Croom, St. Petersburg,FL;grandchildren:Harley,Tyla,Travis, David,Meghan,Brandon,Levi,Hailey-Anne,Catherine; sisters:Louise,Gloria,Mary,Rebecca; brothers:William,Richard,and Chris. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 24th at 4pm at Anderson McQueen- 7820 38th Ave North St. Petersburg, FL.
