Thomas Charles Soule

Soule, Thomas Charles, Beloved Child of God. Tom?s loving spirit will sustain us all. He loved so many people and wanted to be a blessing to others every day. Tom was born September 3, 1944 to Ivy and John Soule, in Highland Park, Michigan. He died September 20, 2007 at Woodside Hospice. Tom was a graduate of Central Michigan University and Michigan State University and was a long time Spartan fan. He was a lifelong educator teaching in Lansing, Michigan and at Michigan State University. Most recently he was a mentor for teachers in Pinellas County. Tom and his family relocated to St. Petersburg, FL in 2000 and he was involved in many local sport teams, volunteered with the blind, and was past president of the St. Petersburg Lions Club. He has many friends who love him and will miss his always present smile. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Joyce Messner Soule, sons Andrew Susan Soule of Lansdale, PA; Timothy Diana Soule of St. Petersburg, and granddaughter Meghan Soule, brother John William Maureen Soule of San Diego, CA and nieces Renee Soule, Suzanne Soule and nephew, Cory Soule, and many loving cousins. The family would like to express our appreciation to all of the people in our lives who have prayed for our strength throughout this challenge. We are indebted to Rev. Alan Rowbotham and Rev. Temple Hayes for their spiritual guidance and the comfort they provided us. We are thankful for all the doctors at Moffitt Cancer Center and to Dr. Christopher Nelson here in St. Petersburg for his continued prayers and expert care. Visitation will be Monday, September 24, 2007 from 12-2PM and from 7-9PM at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home-NE St. Petersburg Chapel, 2201 Dr. M.L. King St. N., St. Petersburg, FL, 33704. The Memorial Service will be conducted by Rev. Rowbotham and Rev. Hayes on Tuesday, September 25th at 11AM at First Unity Church, 469 45th Ave. N., St. Petersburg, FL, 33703.
