Terry Lee Landin
February 23rd, 1943 - July 26th, 2015
Landin, Terry Lee 72 of Saint Petersburg, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015, at St Petersburg General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Detroit, MI, on February 23, 1943 to the late Howard L Landin and the late Alice J Birdsall, he married Judy on July 26, 1995. After high school graduation, Terry served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged after three years; following his military enlistment, he became a Northville, MI police officer. Terry is survived by his wife, Judy; children, Christine (Jeff) Siefker, Brian Landin (Janel Sauder), Michelle Landin (Bob Casper), Misty (Jens) Rosowski, Stephen (Kimberly) Landin, Roni Stutzman (Alain Macias), Jason Gibes (Angie Grillo), Jami (Chad) Bordner-Gibes; grandchildren, Sara, Adam, Stephanie, Bradley, Ryan, Jeffery, Alyssa, Deserae, Nicholas, Kristian, Cody, Leanna, Andrew, Joel, Alexis, Nathan, Olivia, and Brianna; great-grandchildren, Squish, Morgie, Kaykay, Max, A.J., and Addie; cousin, Gary (Pat) Landin; Aunt Dee (James); Paul Turrentine; and pet companion, Miracle the cat. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 6827 and the American Legion Post 252. For his love of the oldies music, he was a sound tech of Precious and Few Karaoke. He loved flying, building model cars and airplanes, was a member of AOPA and EAA, and he was an avid collector of John Deere tractors and memorabilia. There will be a viewing from 3-6PM on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, and funeral service at 6PM at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home - Tyrone Chapel, 7820 38th Ave N, St Petersburg 33710. At a later date, Terry will travel with his wife, Judy, to Tecumseh, MI where he will be interred on his family farm with his parents and grandparents.
