September 9th, 1926 - January 4th, 2008
Bennett, Arlene, 81, of St. Petersburg, passed away Friday, January 4, 2008, at her home surrounded by family and under the care of Hospice. She moved to St. Petersburg from Pennsylvania in 1970. She was an avid golfer and tennis player and enjoyed traveling with her friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard S. Bennett. She is survived by her daughter, Joella Engle; son, Albert C. Bennett and wife, Cindy; 4 grandchildren, Amy Engle of Atlanta, GA, Jon Engle of St. Petersburg, FL, and Jordan and Jake Bennett both of Seminole, FL; and a sister and 2 brothers of PA. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 from 6 -8 PM at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at 4 PM at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Florida Suncoast or any charity of your choice.
