Hamm Edward D., 72 of St. Petersburg, died Friday, January 11, 2008, at home. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Therese, sister, Shelia Galvin, Delanson, NY, four children; Mary Pheil Troy Cambridge, OH, Karen Johnson Steve, St. Petersburg, David Laura Mableton, GA, Lisa Wise Tim Parkersburg, WV, fourteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was retired as a civil engineer from URS-Tampa after 30 years. He was president and held other offices in the AACE. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and recently the chairman for the building committee for the new St. Raphael's Church. He enjoyed fishing, photography, travel and spending time with family. He was well respected and loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Friends may call at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK Jr. St. N, St. Petersburg, on Monday, January 14 from 6-8, with a rosary service at 7PM. A memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday at St. Raphael's Church at 10AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Assoc.
