Merriman, Kathryn, A. "Kathy" 72, of St. Petersburg, passed away peacefully January 27, 2008 under the care of Hospice. Born in Newark, NJ, she moved here in 1970. She was a member of St. Thomas' Episcopal Church and served on the Vestry and held many volunteer positions. She was a volunteer for the Florida International Museum and a Girl Scout Leader. She was a member of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. She enjoyed planning family activities and had a love for animals. She had a love for the water, boating and living aboard 'Free Spirit'. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Dick, three children: Laura Weber, St. Petersburg, Rick, New York, NY and Jennifer Setzer, Easley, SC, two sisters: Elizabeth Carani and Cynthia Sonzogni, a brother: William Littell Jr., three grandchildren: Eric Weber, Kathryn Setzer and Morgan Setzer. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations to St. Thomas' Episcopal Church or Hospice of the Florida Suncoast.
