Leon Douglas Bostic II
February 4th, 1991 - July 25th, 2015
Bostic II, Leon Douglas, 24, of Saint Petersburg, is at rest. He left us suddenly on July 25, 2015. Leon was born in Bayreuth, Germany on February 4, 1991 to Ulrike E. Bostic and Leon Douglas Bostic. He graduated from St. Petersburg High School in 2009. Leon was currently working on his degree in Sustainability and Environmental Engineering at SPC. He had an extremely close bond with his brother DeMarcus and the two were inseparable growing up. His love for family was paramount and he shared a special bond with each of them. Leon will be remembered for his humor, intelligence, profound kindness to all, and his beautiful spirit. He recently embraced focus and peace through guided meditation and also discovered universal spirituality through Shinto -Kami; where it is believed that all things are universally connected through a sacred and divine essence that manifests itself and flows through all. He is survived by his parents, Ulrike E. Bostic, Leon D. Bostic; brother, DeMarcus A. Bostic; niece Sula E. Bostic; grandmother, Arementha Williams; aunts, Avis Bostic, Erika Hinz; uncles, Roland Pfadenhauer, Markus Pfadenhauer; great aunt, Helga Weigel; cousins, Benjamin and Sandra Hinz; and many friends. Leon will be welcomed in heaven by his Grandparents, Adam and Stefanie Pfadenhauer and his Great Grandmother Floretta Williams. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 P.M. on August 9th, 2015 at Palm Lake Christian Church, 5401 22ND Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33710. In lieu of flowers please preform one Random Act of Kindness in memory of Leon's love for others.
