DeMeza, Norma F. Memaw, 88, of Seminole, passed away February 9 under the care of Hospice after a brief illness. Norma was one of nine children, born in Washington, DC in 1919 and she moved to St. Petersburg Azalea in 1954 and then to Seminole in 2000. She was a homemaker, and had a love for her family, cooking and gardening. A Catholic, she and her family were members of the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle, and after moving to Seminole, she became a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her one and only love, husband Norman Leo 1976. She is survived by her sons, Norman and his wife Janice, Vincent and his wife Kathy, daughter Debra Taylor and her husband William, her brother Vincent Guidi and his wife Jeanne of Annandale, VA, 10 grandchildren; Christie Russell Scott, Timothy DeMeza Kelly, Amy Ballou Michael, Joel DeMeza Cher, Elaina Smith Kevin, Laura Cramer Robert, David DeMeza Sara, Christopher Taylor, Marie DeMeza, and Matthew Taylor; 11 great grandchildren and three more great grandchildren on the way. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to the Circle of Care at St. Matthew Catholic Church, The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, or the charity of your choice. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Thursday February 14, 2008 with a Rosary Service at 6:30 P.M. at Anderson-McQueen Funeral & Cremation Centers-Tyrone Chapel, 7820 38th Avenue North. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Friday February 15, 2008 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 9111 90th Avenue North in Seminole.
