Minor, Donald Jene, 81, of St. Petersburg, passed away on Monday, February 11th, at Bay Pines Veteran's Hospital. Born Henry Eugene Baugh in Ellettsville, IN, on April 2, 1927. He was a WWII Army veteran. He was a member of Pinellas Daylight Lodge #385, Scottish Rite, and a 33rd degree Mason. He was also a member of the Eastern Star, Selama Grotto, St. Petersburg, American Legion-Madeira Beach Post 273. He was preceded in death by his wife: Helen Ester Minor. Donald is survived by his two daughters: Sheryl Robert Hickle, Brandon, FL and Sandra L. Minor, Pinellas Park, FL; two grandchildren: James and Colleen Hickle, Brandon, FL; a brother: Michael Carol Rae, Bentonville, AK; a sister: Shirley Loftin, Dallas, TX and several nieces and nephews. A gathering will be held on Saturday, February 16th from 1pm until service time 2pm at Anderson-McQueen Funeral & Cremation Centers-2201 Dr. MLK St. N. Burial will follow at Royal Palm Cemetery-South. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Donald's name to Selama Grotto Cerebral Palsy Endowment Fund, 3000 16th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33704, would be greatly appreciated.
