Keith L. Andrews, 82, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Thursday, March 28, 2002 at home under the care of The Hospice Of The Florida Suncoast. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and later lived in Guam and Saipan then moved to St. Petersburg in 1982. He was an attorney who earned his Doctor Of Jurisprudence Degree from Indiana University School Of Law and was appointed an attorney and counselor at law for the Supreme Court of the United States. He specialized in Family Law in Indianapolis and served as a judge in Zionsville, Indiana. After years of private practice, he served as the Attorney General of Guam from 1970 to 1974. He also worked in the Attorney General's office of the Trust Territory of Micronesia, as the Territorial Auditor for the government of Guam and was an adjunct professor at the University Of Guam. Before his law career, he was a lay preacher in the Christian Church and also studied medicine and attended the Chicago Conservatory Of Music. He was a Corporal in the Army during WW II where he was trained as a Japanese interpreter. He was a Freemason and a member of a Lions's Club, Rotary Club, and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Geneva, four sons, Dr. Ronald Andrews of Indianapolis, Indiana, Stephen Andrews of Lakeland, Florida, Robert Andrews of Tampa, Florida, James Andrews of St. Petersburg, Florida, two daughters, Connie Watson of Glendale, Arizona, Barbara Stroud of Tallahassee, Florida, one sister, Bobbie Webb of Tavares, Florida, 14 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
