August 20th, 1925 - September 4th, 2003
Raymond George Berchtold, Sr., 78, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Thursday, September 4, 2003 at Tampa General Hospital of burns he received in a fire at Lake Seminole Park. He was born in Philadelphia, PA and came here in 1954 from Collingdale, PA. He was a Union Metal Lather. He was a Webelos leader and an assistant Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop #260 at Meadowlawn Presbyterian Church and was active in Meadowlawn Little League. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and was a member of the American Legion. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He is survived by three sons, Raymond G., Jr. of DeBary, FL, Thomas E and Stephen of Pinellas Park, FL, one brother A. Henry Berchtold of Ocean City, NJ, four grandchildren and one great grandson. His wife of 54 years Esther M. Berchtold predeceased him July 4, 2002. $(document).ready(function(){ });
