Lewis Christian Berthelsen, Jr., 80, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 at St. Anthony's Hospital. He was born in Hinsdale, IL and came here in 1996 from Naples, FL. He was a Tool and Die Maker at General Motors Co. in Willow Springs, IL for 30 years. He was a member of the Christian Service Center St. Petersburg. He was an avid hunter and a member of the Wyoming Antelope Club and a life time member of the N.R.A. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carmen L. Berthelsen; 2 daughters, Carmencita Berthelsen-Doyle of Evergreen, CO, Michelle E. White of St. Petersburg; 2 sons, William D. Berthelsen of Fort Pierce, FL, Joseph M. Ibanez of Clearwater; 2 brothers, Thomas N. Berthelsen of Clearwater, Michael W. Berthelsen of Silver Springs, NV; 6 grandchildren, Kathryn L. Berthelsen, Lauren E. Berthelsen, Jared W. Berthelsen, Jennifer R. Thomas, Caroline Thomas, Sarah A. Ibanez, Nathaniel J. Ocasio and 6 great grandchildren. Memorial Service - 11:00 am Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the Christian Service Center 4800 - 37th Street North, St. Petersburg, with Pastor Mark C.
