R. Frisbie Carr, 88, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Saturday, August 13, 2005 at Pinellas Park Care & Rehab. Center of Parkinson's Disease. He was born in Goldsboro, NC, moved to Sulphur Springs, FL in 1927, and came to St. Petersburg in 1949 from Tampa, FL where he was a graduate of Hillsborough High School. He was co-owner with his brothers, Kenneth, Lynn, and Billy of Carr Brothers Institutional Food and Paper Co. in St. Petersburg for over 25 years. He was a member of the St. Petersburg Tennis Center and First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Betty M.; daughter Sara and her husband Thom Black, Houston, TX, and daughter Nancy and her husband Gary Rucker, Largo, FL, and six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
