Katherine Ann Cater, 55, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Tuesday, March 19, 2002 at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Whitney C. and Ann Overstreet Tilton and moved to St. Petersburg in 1989 from Dixon, Tennessee. She was a sixth grade Special Education teacher for 29 years, most of them with the Hillsborough County School System at Lomax Elementary School in Tampa. She was a 1994 graduate of the University Of South Florida in Tampa with a Masters Degree in Special Education. She attended Solid Rock Christian Church in St. Petersburg.
