April 8th, 1928 - August 11th, 2011
Dr. J. Robert "Bob" Coughenour, 83, of St. Petersburg, FL, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, August 11, 2011. He was born in Wellsville, KS and moved in 2006 to Florida from Indianapolis, IN where he was a family doctor and emergency room physician for over 50 years. Bob was a graduate of Taylor University and Indiana University School Of Medicine. He attended First Presbyterian Church in St. Petersburg. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Beulah A. Coughenour; four sons, James Coughenour of San Francisco, CA, Richard L. (Debi) Coughenour, John Coughenour, both of Indianapolis, IN, Tom (Gina) Coughenour of Nineveh, IN; one daughter, Colleen Coughenour (Mark Gibson) of St. Petersburg; two sisters, Ruth Cox of Greenwood, IN, Eleanor Hunt of Indianapolis, IN; and seven granddaughters, Emily, Tori, Ashley, Alex, Olivia, Hannah, and Brooke. A memorial service will be Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011 at 3 PM in the chapel at Westminster Shores. $(document).ready(function(){ });
