Joseph A. "Joe" Crane, 72, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Tuesday, September 9, 2008. He was born in Austin, TX and moved to St. Petersburg in 1986 from Longview, TX. He was a Loss Prevention Officer at the Marriott Renaissance Vinoy Hotel in St. Petersburg and was a Christian. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Joan M.; a son, John J. (Kendra) Crane of Noble, IL; 1 sister, Nellie (Bill) Malray of Longview, TX; his Mother-in-Law, Dorothy Dickens; Sister-in-Law, Dorothy Crane; Aunt, Doris Crane; Uncle, J.E. (Elizabeth) Carlile; Aunt, Lilla Mae Carlile; Nieces and Nephews, Glenda Pickering, Ivan (Dana) Pickering, Mike Pickering, LaNell Malray, William Malray, Nancy (Carlos) Solisz, Monte (Tammy) Crane, Shadonna Crane, numerous great nieces and nephews and many other loving family members and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Mark, Sr. and Bessie Crane; two brothers, Mark, Jr. and Oliver Crane; sister, Katherine Crooks; and a nephew Jeff Crane. There will also be a viewing 12:00 Noon to time of service at 1:00 P.M.
