Ray Harold Crawford

Dr. Ray Harold Crawford, 82, of St. Petersburg, Florida, went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 11, 2013. He was born in Columbus, Georgia and moved to St. Petersburg in 1969 from Hollywood, Florida. He was a 1959 graduate of Stetson University with a BA degree, a 1963 graduate of New Orleans Seminary with a Master Of Theology degree, and a 1985 graduate of International Bible Seminary with a Doctorate Degree in Theology. He was the former Pastor of North East Park Baptist Church in St. Petersburg from 1969 to 1984 and was the Founder and Director of International Crusade Evangelism, Inc. since 1984. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Clearwater. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carrol Crawford; 1 son, Jeffrey Ray (and his wife, Ginger) Crawford of Lake Wales, FL., 2 daughters, Kelly C. Ahles and Kimberly A. Crawford both of St. Petersburg; 2 brothers, Jack Crawford of Dacula, GA., Bill Crawford of Jacksonville, FL; 5 grandchildren, Julie, Ashley, Lindsey, Courtney, Travis and 3 great grandchildren, Tristin, Zoe and Luke. Memorial Service - 3:00 PM Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church, 110 North McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater, with Dr. Willy Rice and Rev. Dean Rucker officiating.
