Richard L. 'Check' Czekalski, 83, of South Pasadena, FL, died Sunday, March 23, 2003 in the emergency room at Palms Of Pasadena Hospital. He came here in 1922 from his native Cleveland, Ohio and was a Real Estate Broker in St. Pete Beach and Pass-A-Grille. He was a 1937 graduate of St. Petersburg High School and a 1941 graduate of Georgetown University with a degree in Business. He moved to Cincinnati in 1948 where he was a builder and returned to St. Pete Beach in 1973. He was a Navy veteran of WW II. He is survived by one son, Peter F. Czekalski of Cincinnati, one daughter, Amy M. Carter of Chesterfield, MO, one sister, Ann C. Knight of St. Petersburg, seven grandchildren, and one great grandson. $(document).ready(function(){ });
