Richard A. Dion, 87, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Thursday, March 18, 2010 at his residence. He came here in 1948 after being honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy where he received the Navy and Marine Corps Life Saving Medal. He is survived by his son, David R. Dion, (USN, (Ret.) and his wife Susan of St. Petersburg; two grandchildren, Jennifer and Ryan; and 3 great grandchildren, Evan, Addison, and Ethan. He was predeceased by his wife Laurie Dion. A memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at E. Dale Gunter Funeral Home 4100-16th St. No. $(document).ready(function(){ });
