Robert W. "Bob" Drick, Sr., 88, of Largo, FL, died Thursday, October 8, 2009 at the Bay Pines V.A. Health Care System. Bob was born in Milton, PA and moved to St. Petersburg in 1962 from Sunbury, PA. He was a 1948 Graduate of Penn State University with an Agriculture degree and a Masters degree in Chemistry. He was a 1965 Graduate of Florida State University with a Masters degree in Guidance Counseling. Bob taught chemistry at Boca Ciega High School from 1962-1969 then was a guidance counselor at Madeira Beach Middle School, Tomlinson Adult Education Center, and retired from St. Petersburg Vocational Technical Institute. He was a member and past president of the former Kiwanis Club of Boca Ciega and was a former Lt. Governor of Florida Kiwanis Division #20. He was a member of Albright United Methodist Church and a Navy veteran of WW II. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Evelyn F.; 2 sons, Robert W. Jr. of St. Petersburg, Thomas E. of New Port Richey, FL; 1 daughter, Marjorie D. Smith of Land O'Lakes, FL; 2 sisters, Mary Mayo of Brooksville, FL, Dorothy Curtin of Clearwater, FL; and 4 grandsons, Jonathan, Aaron, Daniel, and Philip. The family will receive friends 3:00 PM to service time at 4:00 PM Sunday, October 11, 2009 at E. Dale Gunter Funeral Home 4100-16th St. No. with Rev. Jerry Partney, Jr. officiating. Interment will be at Bay Pines National Cemetery. ******************* The Audio of the Funeral Service of Robert W.
