Gene M. Fitzgerald,73, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Monday, September 13, 2004 at Hospice of Cypress Palms in Largo. He was a native and life long resident of St. Petersburg, an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW. He was Heavy Machine Operator and Transporter for a Construction Co. and was Protestant. He is survived by two sons, John of Sedalia, MO and Franklin "Frankie" of St. Petersburg; one daughter, Donna Anderson of Oroville CA; two brothers, Billy B. and Kenneth D. both of St. Petersburg; one sister, Shirley Beauford of Abbeville, SC; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
