Michael Felice
August 8th, 1957 - February 23rd, 2008
Felice, Michael, left us February 23, 2008. He was 50 years old. He arrived in Tampa from the Chicago area in 1979. While in Chicago he attended Forest View High School where Billy and Patty Faust set the ground work for his art endeavors. He later obtained his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Northern Illinois University. The kid from Chicago had his eye on Tampa and went to work; the prize, a Master in Fine Arts from the University of South Florida, 1992. For many years, he has been employed by Keystone Tile and Stone. He is survived by many friends and family members: his loving mother, Lillian Banke, Chicago; his loving Aunt and Godmother, Caroline Felice; his loving sister, Paulette, Chicago, his loving brothers, Nicholas, Chicago, and Charles, Salt Lake City, Utah; and his loving Dalmatian, Maude. His father, Dominic Frank Felice, preceded him in death in 1963 and his step father, Henry S. Banke in 2005; so many of his beloved Dalmatians. He had too many friends to mention here, you know who you are and how much he cared about you. He was a painter and whether on or off the wall, he was mine and loved deeply. Thank you to all, Katie Felice. A gathering will be held at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK Jr. St. NE, on Tuesday, February 26, from 4-6PM. Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 27, at 11:00AM at St. Paul's Catholic Church. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home-NE St. Petersburg
