Nell H. Gottschling, 88, of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away Monday, July 20, 2009. She was born in Union Springs, AL and moved to St. Petersburg in 1970 from Tampa, FL. She was a homemaker and volunteered at All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg for many years. She was a member of the Barcley Estates Garden Club and was Southern Baptist. She is survived by her son, Peter (Cynde) Gottschling, III; her daughter, Janice (Thomas) Kohn of Banks, AL; 4 grandchildren, Peter, Erik, Rita, and Ricky; 4 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter, companion Bob Carlos, and her brother, Clarence Oliver Hall. Private services were held at Memorial Park Cemetery.
