Maxine L. Hastings Maxine L. Hastings, 76, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Monday, January 17, 2005 at home under the care of the Hospice Of The Florida Suncoast. She was born in Kenova, WV and came here in 1958 from Huntington, WV. She was a manager of women's apparel at J. Byron's at Gateway Mall. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Pinellas Park and formerly was a puppeteer with the Clearview Baptist Church outreach program and former member of Fifth Avenue Baptist and Northeast Park Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, William H. "Bill"; two sons and daughters-in-law, William M. "Bill"and Sara, Robert H. "Bob" and Donna both of Seminole; one brother, Clifford Loar, Jr. of Fort Pierce, FL; five sisters, Anne Adkins of Ravenswood, WV, Eleanor Nickell of Kenova, WV, Billie Atamer of Vero Beach, FL, Judy Suthard of Vero Beach, FL, Sandra Caudill of Ashland, KY; four grandchildren, William, Kelly, Brian, and Sophia. She was predeceased by a son, Brian David Hastings.
