Walter A. Hill, 77, of Treasure Island, died Monday, April 2, 2001 at St. Anthony's Hospital. He came here in 1934 from his native Wyandotte, Michigan and was the president and owner of Clearview Cleaning Contractors in St. Petersburg where he had been active since 1945. He was a member of Pass-A-Grille Yacht Club, Holiday Isles Elks Lodge #1912 in Madeira Beach, and a VFW lodge in St. Petersburg. He was Catholic. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Elaine G. Four daughters, Marsha Hill of Riverview, Brenda Hitt of St. Pete. Beach, Lisa Hill of St. Petersburg, and Carroll A. Beasley of Clearwater. One son, Patrick C. Stevens of St. Petersburg. Two brothers, Robert Hill of St. Petersburg and Donald Hill of Panama City, Fl. Two sisters, Betty DeLong and Pat Williams both of St. Petersburg.
