Richard P. 'Dick' Himes, 68, of Pinellas Park, FL, died Monday, July 14, 2003 at his residence under the care of The Hospice of The Florida Suncoast. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio and moved to Pinellas Park in 1972 from Newton Falls, Ohio where he was the owner of a home furnishings and decorating service. Locally, he worked for Montgomery Ward Co. for 27 years. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War and attended Glad Tidings Assembly Of God Church in St. Petersburg. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mary E., one son and daughter-in-law, Richard 'Rick' and Caroline Himes of Brooksville, FL, three daughters and sons-in-law, Debbi and Michael Mecurio, Darla and Steve Koch both of Pinellas Park, Donna and Frank Telegdy of St. Petersburg, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Joyce Himes of St. Petersburg, Charles and Donna Himes of Lordstown, Ohio, one sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Edward Young of Sarasota, and seven grandchildren, Gregory, Erika, Jamie, KC, Ashley, Jessica, and Rickie.
