George W. Hofstetter, 51, of Largo, Florida, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at his residence. George was born in Wichita, KS and moved to St. Petersburg, FL in the mid 1970's from Germany. He was a 1980 graduate of Dixie Hollins High School and was an Assistant Store Manager at Publix Supermarkets for 22 years. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in St. Petersburg. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Cynthia M. "Cindy" Hofstetter; his son, David A. (Christina) Hofstetter of Goldsboro, NC; his daughters, Elisabeth N. Hofstetter of Largo, Stephanie K. (Michael) Benson of St. Petersburg; his mother, Sara C. Green of Palm Harbor, FL; his sisters, Cathy L. Markman of Kenneth City, FL, Sharon M. Kirkman of Clearwater, FL; and 3 grandchildren, Emma, Ella, and James. A celebration of his life will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Liberty Baptist Church, with Rev. Ralph Wilson, Sr. officiating.
