Curtis L. Leverett, 88, of LaFayette, Alabama, died Monday, May 26, 2008 in South Pasadena, Florida. He was a native and life long resident of LaFayette where he was a Rural Letter Carrier with the U.S. Postal Service for 25 Years. He and his wife were also the owners of Youngland Children's Shop in Lafayette for 14 years. He was a 60 year member of Solomon Masonic Lodge #74, American Legion and VFW all in LaFayette. He was an Air Force veteran of WW II and was a 60 year member of First Baptist Church LaFayette. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nell Tomlinson Leverett; two daughters, Julianne L. Cook of Greenville, SC; Kathryn L. "Kathy" (Dr. Mike) Ramage of St. Petersburg, FL; one sister, Dorothy L. Allen of LaFayette; one Brother, Joe Leverett of Atlanta, GA; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
