Wendel D. Lilly

Rev. Wendel D. Lilly, 76, of St. Petersburg, FL, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, September 18, 2011. He was a graduate of Trinity Bible College, Columbia Bible College, and Liberty University and was the Pastor of several churches including Garden City Baptist Church in St. Petersburg. He was later the Owner of Lilly Pads Concrete and also worked at the Home Depot store at 2300-22nd Ave. No. He is survived by 1 daughter, Karen L. (Ken) Craven; 2 sons, Kevin (Cheryl) and Keith Lilly; 1 brother, David Lilly; 2 sisters, Joanne Ford and Marion Kinney; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer, Kevin, Amy, Matthew, Emily, Jeremy; and 1 great grandson, Alexander. He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Eleanor J. Lilly. Friends may call 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 PM Thursday, September 22, 2011 at E.
