Robert Evans Long

Robert Evans Long, 94, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, came here in 1982 from Tomahawk, KY, moved to Xenia, OH in 2000 and returned in 2001. He was an Army veteran of WW II. He is survived by 2 sons, Keith (Sandi) Adkins of Seminole, FL, George "Eddie" (JoAnn) Long of St. Petersburg; 3 daughters, Janet F. (Ed) Moody of St. Petersburg, Virginia Begley and Diana L. Long both of Xenia, OH; 1 sister, Virginia Jacober of Hendersonville, NC; 14 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 21 great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Louella and a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Marilyn Adkins. A graveside service with military honors will be 11:00 A.M.
