Carmen E. "Piering" Madison, 68, of St. Petersburg, Florida, entered Eternal Peace on April 10, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. She graduated from St. Petersburg High School in 1963. She and Margaret Bailey were the founders of The Original Get Nailed in 1982. She married Jack Madison in 1982; she was the love of his life. She is survived by Jack, loving husband; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Bert Crumley; 3 granddaughters, Amber, Jenny, and Jessica; daughter and son-in-law, Bobbi and Gary Zolg; 2 grandsons, Alexander and James; all of St. Petersburg. FL; son and daughter-in-law, Butch and Jennifer Miller; grandson, Eric; 1 great-grandson; and 2 great-granddaughters of Kentucky; mother, Carmen Piering of St. Petersburg; brother, Jay Piering of Tampa, FL; sister Diane Ryder of Land O' Lakes, FL and Judy McAlear of Fernandina Beach, FL; stepson, Lee Madison of Spring Hill, FL; step-daughters, Jill Bundrant of Clearwater, FL and Christine Madison of St. Petersburg. FL; many nieces and nephews and the rest of her large loving family. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 19, 2014, 1:00 PM at the E. Date Gunter Funeral Home, 4100 - 16th Street North, in St. Petersburg. Family and friends are welcome to the home afterwards. $(document).ready(function(){ });
