Margaret D. Mahoney, 88, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Monday, April 27, 2009. She was born in Athens, TN and moved to St. Petersburg in 1946 from Knoxville, Tennessee. She was a waitress at the former Owl Restaurant in St. Petersburg and a member of Suncoast Cathedral. Mrs. Mahoney is survived by her husband, Elzie "Sonny" Mahoney; 2 sons, C. Wayne Duffield, Jr. of St. Petersburg, Kenneth J. Duffield of Las Vegas, NV; 1 brother, James R. Kelley of Gruetli, TN; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Mrs. Mahoney was predeceased by her first husband of 50 years, Clarence W. Duffield, Sr., second husband, Russell V. Wallace, and a son, Dennis A. Duffield. Friends may call 10 to service time at 11 A.M. Friday, May 1, 2009 at the E.
